Once upon a time, in the magical realm of Cupertino, a brilliant team of tech wizards decided to sprinkle some stardust on our wrists. Behold, the Apple Watch! A magical timepiece that's part fitness guru, part personal assistant, and all-around delightful companion. But wait, there's a collection of quirky characters, each Apple Watch has its own unique flair. So, buckle up and get ready for a whimsical journey through the diverse family of Apple Watches
Apple Watch SE
Starting off with the budget-friendly Apple Watch SE! Harking back to Apple's old habit of putting new tech in an old shell. The new SE looks a lot like the previous generation's SE but hides the updated S8 chip and crash detection from the Series 8 and Ultra. Also, the back of the new SE is finally colour-matched to the rest of the case!
There are features that you miss out on with the SE compared to the Series 8, the always-on display, ECG, and blood oxygen monitoring are not included with the SE.
Apple Watch Series 8
The new Apple Watch Series 8 now features a sensor to detect your body temperature as well as improved period and ovulation tracking on top of all the features from the wildly successful series 7. You also get the car crash detection that is prevalent on this entire crop of Apple Watches because Apple really cares about your safety!
Unlike the SE, you’re not making any major tradeoffs outside of the extra rugged features offered by the ULTRA.
Apple Watch Ultra
The one everyone has been waiting for.... Apple's attempt at taking on the super outdoorsy hardcore active user. Positioned as an expensive alternative to dedicated active watches like Garmin, designed to be taken to very remote places for activities like diving, hiking or exploring.
Built from titanium and waterproof up to 100 meters and features a flat 49mm large display, making it by far the chunkiest Apple Watch. oh and did we mention that it features a programmable action button on its side?! On the connectivity side, it supports multi-band GPS with a trackback to help you navigate very remote locations and retrace your steps on the return journey.
