We are currently recalling the LOGiiX Piston Power 5,000 Mag due to safety concerns.
The following SKUs (part numbers) are affected -

If you have any of these Piston Power 5000 Mag power banks, please immediately stop using the recalled product and contact us for a replacement power bank. Dispose of it by contacting your municipality for instructions on how to safely transport and dispose of lithium-ion batteries.

Use the following steps to identify if your Piston Power 5000 Mag is part of this recall.
Firstly, if you still have the packaging for the product look at the bottom of the packaging above the barcode for the SKU or product number. This starts with LGX and is followed by a 5 digit number.
The SKUs that are part of the recall are as follows -
LGX-13302, LGX-13303, LGX-13304, LGX-13839, LGX-13840
If you own or are currently using any of the following part numbers please immediately stop using the recalled product and contact LOGiiX for a replacement power bank. Dispose of it by contacting your municipality for instructions on how to safely transport and dispose of lithium-ion batteries.
Other ways to identify an affected power bank
If you no longer have the packaging, do not worry! You can also look at the power ratings on the back of your current battery pack or the LOGiiX ID to help you identify if your battery pack is affected by this recall.
LOGiiX ID Number
Does your battery pack have a LOGiiX ID number? (Shown in the photo) If it does then you need not worry as only newer power banks that are not affected by the recall have the LOGiiX ID. But if you do not have a LOGiiX ID number as shown in the image then you might have an affected unit.
If your power bank does not have a LOGiiX ID Number, please immediately stop using the recalled product and contact LOGiiX for a replacement power bank. Dispose of it by contacting your municipality for instructions on how to safely transport and dispose of lithium-ion batteries.
Power Ratings
To help identify if your battery pack is affected by the recall you can also look at the power ratings on the back. The power ratings printed on the back of the power bank can be found underneath the MagSafe compatible magnetic charging pad, near the LED lights, power button and USB-C port. Power Banks that are affected by this recall have the following rating for USB Type-C Input/Output:
USB TYPE-C INPUT / OUTPUT: 20W MAX
The replacement units use lower-powered batteries than those subject to the recall (rating differences shown below).
